Also, please can you explain the decision around 10/xx/30 gcs?
Is this for better results or solely due to the price of 3/xx/20s?
300life + 10max + ar vs 600life?

At the moment a single 3/20/20 costs... alot (1000's of fg).
At the moment a 10max/5x-7x ar/30 life gc costs about 200fg
9max/ar/30 life is affordable, as are 1bow/30life
Therefore for the time being GC's are the most affordable charm, in general, for MLD.

Skllers 30 life ~

Java skillers - too expensive for the build noting the build was ever fringe.
Java skillers 7frw - too expensive for the build noting the build was ever fringe.
bow skiller 30 life - dirt cheap (20-30fg)
Sorc Light skillers - too expensive for the build noting the build was ever fringe.
Cold Skillers - too expensive for the build noting ever not popular
Fire Skillers - these are now costing around 60-80fg each (affordable)
PC Skillers - these are around 250fg right now, expensive but in the realm of acceptable (finally!)
Off Skillers - affordable
Shape Skillers - affordable
Shape Skillers FRW - really need to shop around to get these affordable, sometimes still selling for 200+
Ele Skillers 30 (or 35!) life - also affordable now noting HLD community is well into transitioning beyond 38 life skillers (and selling their old 3x lifers)
Shadow Skillers 30 (or 35!) - affordable noting fringe build at all levels.
PNB Skillers similar to jav and pc - still somewhat expensive.
9max/ar/30life - affordable
10max/ar/30life - also affordable

I might do a couple of funky things for MLD to make certain builds more viable, cost efficient. such as max 1 point multi on bow unless using the bow Insight. (this enables a bowa to use 1bow/30life gc's, have infinite mana and therefore use multi. the damage is around 3k, which is a decent damage range for a zon.

Yeah having cost effective builds/tours could be the way to go for now.

and then we have some ppl turning up 1 month after reset with a perfect MLD libby, with a perfect inventory. its probably more apt to say:

MLD is CURRENTLY the cheapest and obtainable PvP bracket noting you are competing vs the world for HLD, and therefore the prices on the BEST are 100K+ (circ, weapon, ring, amulet EACH), and the wider D2r community does not know what good looks like for vlld-lld (which means that items are not sold). For MLD Skillers are "medium life (30), no expensive rune(words) and alot of Unique Item gearing, with limited need for rares (amulet, ring), and alot of magic options (Circ, Shield etc). The only problem for MLD is probably jewels but again 3 mod jewels are not terrible (4 mod again, you are competing vs the world).
