with desync removed from the game and the faster frw limits. the matchup nec vs barb is messed up, noting the increased frw makes it now much harder for the nec.
at the same time barb vs sorc is totally broken w/o desync. will need to look at that more.
and blizz is doing way more damage ( probably via facets ) which also needs adjustments.

thus - most likely, if we allow teleport on barb, vs sorc only, then we dont have to use such high frw limits, but will have to see what the nec damage boost is like first.
in the meantime will allow + 25 cold res stack noting 650 damage per hit (where must chars are less then 1300 life) is just stupid.

revised ~ reduced Barb FRW to match necro frw. will look at ama frw vs nec frw next week.

note to self, reduce barb frw even more. consider 100-105.

In advance of Ladder Launch (which will result in diminished dueling for a few weeks) I am going to try to balance certain matchups (1v1). This will involve testing via FT50's for certain matchups.
i.e. Bowa vs Barb, Barb vs Nec, Ama vs Nec etc.

I will compare the current % complete of each character vs its "perfected" theorycrafted version in order to balance as best I can. What this will mean is certain builds will for the time being have better results vs those characters / builds that still have a long way to go before being completed.

Patch 2.4 has now been released. The most glaring results are:

1. MLD Bowa's are currently doing pre 2.4 HLD Vita Bowa Damage. This is simply too high. The obvious rule change will be a "max 1 hard point in Multi". Noting Insight Shadow Bow might be a gateway item to MLD, I may simply "Max 1 Hard Point Multi shot unless using Insight as Bow". That is unless it somehow magically balances itself (unlikely. the current dev's have no clue of the game).
2. Nec's are doing way more damage then before. While they competed before they did not dominate before, therefore extensive testing is required to determine if anything needs changing. from D2r launch it looks like Nec is now > Libby, where in D2LOD it was Libby > Nec. i would say it moved from Libby 70-30 to Libby 30-70. not sure how to fix that one (or the Sorc vs Barb match).

The plan is to zoom in on these 7 builds first, in order to get a balance across the builds to enable all classes to win a tournament. As sorc is going to be the hardest to balance, expect that to be balanced last.

Overall, EVERY CLASS can be easily balanced via FRW Limits, except for the Sorc Class. Expect me to look at that last. In the meantime I will use a table similar to Werewolf's in LLD to show the current position re: Balance of the classes.

My issue-

Bowa: S tier

Nupper: F tier

xD Bowa is not S Tier, its A Tier.
S Tier means they have no Anti-chars. the only Build @ MLD that does not have an anti char is ESBlizz (but it has hard matchups).
Bowa can be regarded as A +++

it looks like VT is the future for paladins in D2r.
