@ShamsCharania
"Sources: James Harden is taking a $15 million paycut for next season that allowed Philadelphia to elevate roster β€” with sole focus on a championship run in 2023. Harden opted out of his $47M player option and now plans to sign a new two-year deal with a player option in Year 2.

Everyone around Harden has understood the focus on his workout regimen this offseason and a championship goal for 2022-23. His close relationships with those around the organization, including Michael Rubin and Daryl Morey, played a major role in trust between the two sides."

Melton vs Thybulle. Almost as good on defense while actually being a much much better shooter. πŸ€”πŸ‘€

Mellton shot 25% in the playoffs. Memphis were more the happy for him to leave.

Not me saying it as opinion, i'm just reading off what the evidence suggests as displayed above.

Melton is a terrific defender, not as good as Thybulle, but still VERY good and has a 6'8'' wingspan, while being a MUCH better offensive player who has to be respected at the 3pt line (hence him not being left open often while Thybulle is always left open).

:)

He was miserable in the first round against Minnesota where he only played in 4 of the 6 games and only played 11.7 minutes per game. But he was a key contributor in the second round against Golden State playing in every game that series at 20+ minutes per game, primarily on the defensive end helping them win several of those games with his defense on numerous players including Curry.

Plz dont say they were more happy for him to leave, you clearly didn't watch the series buddy. Grizzlies fans loved Melton....
