I paid attention to his administration. He never had a full cabinet and after the first year he just stopped trying to get his appointments confirmed.

What bout the previous administration and current one?

Biden had all of his appointments ready to go before his first day. They were vetted before his adminstration even began and they were confirmed quickly.

In truth, if Trump had no opposition then Mitch McConnell would have written all the laws for him and they would have gotten passed. Trump just generally didn't know shit about how government works but he had handlers who did and who could shut off his stupidity.

Nah, if you paid attention you would know it was MONTHS before Trump even had names for his cabinet positions. At the end he stopped even trying to nominate and just left his positions as "acting" instead of confirmed and several actions of his departments were overturned as a result.

Compare that to Obama, Romney, and Biden who all had their names submitted months before the election for vetting so the confirmation process would be as smooth as possible.

I know it can be hard to admit, but Trump really had no idea what he was doing.
