I think this is a little too far.

They should just make them the same as the other level 85 areas, where you hunt the special packs, and add extra experience but no so much that it takes away from the specialness of level 99.

That way people who are trying to level have a reason to farm it, and people who are tired of farming the same 2-3 areas can farm it, and it doesn't fuck the economy.

99 only has been this difficult since 1.10, which was when the game stopped being popular. i know most people played 10+ years on 1.10 but the first three years of the game, when D2 had the biggest player base, 99 was achievable. it's only unachievable now because they never did a major patch, except to add ubers, after 2003. they basically cut support after WC3TFT launched and moved everyone who didn't get fired when they closed Blizz North to the development of WoW. They went way too far in the reduced experience direction.

anyway 99 should be achievable, you shouldn't be able to farm on single player for 8-9 months and not hit 99.

I'm fine with 99 being easier, more concerned about the drop stuff.

really though a lot of those items are found while grinding to 99 anyways because you run diablo-nihl-baal
diablos drop table is a bit limited but iirc nihls got a pretty high TC and baal can drop every item in the game i believe

so technically having normal drops in the terrorzone would be giving players grinding to 99 less drops in a sense because they wouldnt be getting the bazillion ilvl99 baal drops this evens it out a bit
its also based on the hosts level so if a lvl 70 makes the game your not going to be able to get tyreals to drop its max +5 so its ilvl75 items but if a 94 makes it you can get ilvl 99 shit with +5

oh i see the translation thing orange numbers have always been runes though right like el(1)
maybe now they are stackable potentially with gems? so now thers a number like pul(5) and you got 5x?

Stackable gems is a good guess. Will make crafting easier. Hope you can trade a stack in a trade window too.

yeah im thinking with that translation and possibly stackable gem/runes
or they are going to put numbers for runes like the hacks had so people know what a high run is and dont trade jah for like eth rune

like u drop a cham and wtf am i gunna use that for, but i could have 2 jah or 4 ber ect, or make it diminish (not exactly sure how that would work)
