So it gives new areas to find high level items which is fine but places like Cows and Flayer Jungle where there is a lot of monster density... that'll increase the amount of high level items dropping quite a bit?

seems its based on the hosts character lvl up to a certain point
Base: +2 levels up to level 96
Champion: +4 levels up to level 98
Unique: +5 levels up to level 99
The experience received and the loot dropped by killing a terrorized monster will be based on this new level

but i think if you are below the lvl say your 83 in an 85 zone it goes up to 87?
idk im sure llama will put out a video explaining it or probably already has lol

depends where its at, if your high level and now in hell they are at diablo/baal for an hour your getting high level kills

it will tell you where it is


Upon entering a Terror Zone-enabled game, you'll be informed of the current terrorized areas through a message sent to you via the Chat Box. When the time for new terrorized zones draws near, you will be informed of the impending changes via the Chat Box.

In addition, you will be informed that you’re entering a terrorized area by several indicators:

Unique iconography next to a terrorized monster's name
On-screen text and messaging
Special audio cue
In-game text on the auto-map

Read a good point in the D2R section...

If only monster level changes and not anything to do with treasure class, then we shouldn't see too more rare unique items.

However the affix pool in certain areas will be better, so for example more 40+ life GC's.

is this a significantly big change? is this game still fun and worth playing? or is it reaching the point where it's becoming stale

well this should change it up a bit and help the staleness if you are trying to grind 90+you dont have to just run chaos diablo and nihl now you can run these terrorized zones
might not even have to do trist tombs and cows in normal to level if its an act 1 or 2 terrorized zone maybe we can spam that area to lvl instead


could be a pretty big change

saw some one say depening on the area your time to go from 98-99 is 10-15 times faster, so like done in hours instead of days

they better have the live ladder working from the start then lol
thats good though maybe il ltry to actually hit 99 i usually get to 94-96 and give up
