Pretty good month as I do not have benefits for the first month of the new job. IE, no 401k contributions or matches + no HSA contributions, etc. Additionally, the biweekly payroll schedule has resulted in 1.5 paychecks for the month of June with 3 in July.

I bought my house at an insanely good deal.

The company that rented it to me sold it for 122k. Sold for 130k two years ago, and the appraisal had similar houses in the area with a minimum value of 150k. So we bought it at a pretty amazing price.

I wouldn't want to be a buyer right now honestly. Appraisals aren't keeping up with recent sale prices, so people are having to pony up the difference.

Also, they definitely sold my information because I am now getting calls every few days asking if I want to sell. Like, calm down guys, I've been a home owner for all of 15 days.

I've heard coasts are really bad. My sister lives in central missouri and she sold her house in 48 hours for 25% above asking. Hell, my boss just sold his mom's house (she's moving in with him due to a health condition) and they sold her house in Arizona within a week for 40% above asking.

We need major housing reform or we just won't be able to afford housing in the future with how this is going.
