It's sad how his supporters have lost any notion of self-interest in all this. If you believe he was a great president for 4 years, wouldn't you want him to maintain some credibility so he could get elected again? And so he could try to continue to move the party in a direction you like?

It jives with what I know about many Trump supporters that they don't know about themselves... which is they are far more interested in what Trump can burn down, not what he can build.
