The four-page impeachment bill draws from Trump's own false statements about his election defeat to Democrat Joe Biden; his pressure on state officials in Georgia to "find" him more votes; and his White House rally ahead of the Capitol siege, in which he encouraged thousands of supporters to "fight like hell" before they stormed the building.

Even if it's delayed to allow Biden to setup government, if successful means he is barred from any public office.

Democrats have the majority and republicans are starting to turn on the megalomaniac as his behaviour deteriorates.

Personally, after the pipe bombs placed on the capitol were discovered, I think the 20th is going to have some detonations in DC. I would stay the fuck away if I was local.

Trump is looking more and more like he finishes his story in jail.

Good riddance.

i think its a waste of time and my money tbh.

he won the initial bid because another narcissist wouldnt drop out of the nomination run, he lucked out i think. rode his four years and couldnt secure a second term (regardless if you believe it was fraudulent or not).

i dont see him doing any public office bullshit after this. i see him going away.
this is just to get a petty win, imhaho and that never leads to "unity" or whatever the hippie love shit is being spouted off atm.

He had 44% of the republican nominee. Who was supposed to drop out so someone else could win?

Also as someone who lives in DC, best thing that can be done is just let it end next week like it should. Nn to impeach then get more trumpets rioting downtown this week and then again next week at inauguration. Next week is already enough to have to deal with these clowns

But the extremists readily identify themselves, I think next week will present an opportunity to put some of those dangerous terrorists away.

It's only a matter of time before one of these trump tards becomes the next Timothy McVeigh.

kasich and rubio needed to bow out sooner. they had no chance and just served to add additional splits to the vote. could have changed the tide, forced it to convention, leading to the party giving it to cruz v clinton in 2016.
least thats how it would have played out in my head, i could be so incredibly off base its funny.
in any event, i still think the whole impeachment is pointless and a waste of time and money.
