Like I already said, the last time Democrats were actually in the position to pass anything, the party hadnt moved as far to the left yet. Since at least 2014, there was no chance for them to pass anything, so this fact cant be used to argue against their radicalization.

In the meantime, the world economy and infrastructure has to run on something.
