No Orlando Jones as Anansi is very disappointing, but I'm still looking forward to it. The singer on stage after showing sweeney is marilyn manson.


In other news, sweeney will be master chief in the live action halo series coming out in 2021.

Its a very slow tv show but I enjoyed it

I haven't got around to watching it, been waiting for season 3.

I HIGHLY recommend reading the book, I'm on my 4th re-read now and it's one of my favorites. The show does a lot of things right, but it goes over the top at times that don't make sense and then it does the opposite and plays down shit that I felt should be played up. From what I've heard of S2, it covers an incredibly slow portion of the book. The book makes that portion enjoyable with wonderful storytelling and it builds and builds on an already stupendous show/book by bringing a story that's been jumping miles ahead at a time to a standstill, while still keeping you intrigued and asking a million questions "What the actual fuck is going? Why is he here? How does this work? Why is it safe? The fuck is with the kids? etc. etc. It's some good shit.

The third and final season should be fucking epic! I'm attempting to finish the book (about 90 pages left) before I start watching another episode. For the entire first season I would read like 20-30 pages and then watch an episode, back and forth, so it was all fresh in my mind. It amazed me how many random direct quotes they pulled from the book into the show.

The third isn't the final. Season 3 is about to come out and they renewed it for season 4, which they're currently working on.

Woah, I completely missed that. The second season had done very poorly and they had said previously three would be the final season. I'm not sure how they're planning to milk four seasons out of it though, the first covered well over 1/3 of the book. Haven't finished the second yet, but I feel like they'll be stretching a lot of content or needlessly adding shit if they push it too far.
