It has recently been brought to my attention that there seems to be a mainstream opinion on this. I am posting poll to check if I'm out of the loop on this one.

If you can think of any other heroes that may resemble him closely enough to deserve consideration, post them as well please.

Generic mysterious villain

I wouldn't ask too many questions though, some ahole will spoil his background.

Really hope they stick to his background from the comic.

I just hope he gets more screen time for the rest of the season

There’s no way they released a trailer with all of the scenes where he does something right :unsure:

Pretty obvious that the 7 are based on the Justice League.

I hadn’t thought about it to be honest. This post however prompted me to do a little google search, & now I know a pretty significant spoiler. I literally avoid spoilers at all costs, so

Nah, it’s whatever, haha. I would rather not know, as I’m sure the reveal will be pretty dope, but with the source material already out there, it’d would’ve been hard to avoid

While that's generally true, it doesn't have to be a perfect match all the time. Invisibility has appeared all over the superhero gene, but is there specifically a JL equivalent of Translucent that I forgot about?

If there's one character that doesn't have a direct JL equivalent, then there can be two.

Martian Manhunter isn't too far off from Translucent.

He can be invisible, nearly indestructible and main weaknesses are fire and electricity.

Obviously Jon has way more powers, but the 7 are all extremely watered down compared to the JL in general.

The guy in the comics who they replaced for Translucent (who isn't in the comics) looks like a red Alien Manhunter lol.

It is 100% a copy of justice league, so with that Noir is obviously Batman, silent brooding in all black, but seeing as he never does anything batmanesque in the comics, it's weird for him to be batman, but he is lol.

Homelander = Superman
A Train = Flash
Noir = Batman
Maeve = Wonder Woman
The Deep = Aquaman
Jack from Jupitor = Martian Manhunter (excluded from show for some reason)
Lamplighter = Green Lantern

There are 7 original members of the Justice league, it's called the seven lol. I mean, it's pretty obvious.

so you're saying The Seven is a 6/7 match for JL (because we got Translucent instead of Jack)
