Ya, I heard that posting massive spoilers without a warning is something that only giant douchebags do, but maybe I'm wrong.

Deadpool/Wolverine from what I've seen so far. His skin seems deformed underneath that suit, and he seems mostly indestructible. Maybe he volunteered after an accident, it's possible that Vought promised they could heal him but lied.

*spoiler alert*: In episode 3 when it was announced on the news that superheroes are created not born, Black Noir was rocking in the corner of the room, looking very upset. Maybe Vought manipulated him and tried to make it seem like they would accept him and give him a home, but actually they caused his deformities / injuries and he's only just learned this.

It could be that he heals very fast and we only saw the immediate after effects after he took that blast, but the full body covering suit is probably hiding something grotesque. *spoiler alert*: In episode 4, Homelander said Black Noir doesn't identify with as race, so maybe there's so much damage he's completely unrecognisable, therefore maybe he's given up on his humanity.

I'm pretty sure the episode 4 thing is because he has never actually seen Noir without the suit so he doesn't actually know. Not that he has some deep dark humiliating secret that he is keeping for Noir.
