Not exactly, but I'm certain a handful of things will play out exactly or close enough to how the comic did. Not the last thing, that'd sour way too many people lol. A man can dream though

it's true that his logic is terrible

however, he has a point that the scientology subplot (that is the direction A-train and Deep are going in) has seemed somewhat disconnected from the rest of the story. For now, I'll give the show the benefit of the doubt that the reveal of its plan is something big. But they've set a high bar for themselves.

If it doesn't live up, then I could start seeing some validity in the criticism that those characters are worthless and could have been killed off long ago.

It started off great in season one then went to trash, im halfway though season two and it’s getting worse. It’s still better than all the other shows out there, even GoT.

I complained about it getting too edgy for my tastes earlier in this thread. I must just be getting too old to be able to enjoy what the kids are into these days. The same shit that made me stop watching ESPN is making me want to stop watching this. The reason I turn on a fictional TV show instead of MSM is so I can avoid having the bullshit political divisiveness narrative shoved down my throat.

Aside from the first 5 minutes, the episode was fine. Ending was great. I'm glad the show is willing to kill of characters, even if they are minor ones. We did see a little bit of meaningful info about Noir, so that was nice.

I think it is the head of the deep’s church. He has the motivation to protect vought and to kill off A train’s replacement. It makes sense that the head of a church that actively recruits supes would also be one
