First 3 episodes were definitely no worse than S1, probably even better.

They are doing a good job "peeling back the layers" as it were, so that things feel new but also are a natural continuation. The revelation of Compound V to the audience was one of the big plot points from S1. So then revealing to the public (in-universe) is a next step that really shifts the dynamic of the show's world.

The scene with the Daredevil knockoff was brilliant. Satirizing the PC culture was great. The show has a real bite to it. And the hilarious line "i'll let you chop off my dick for a thousand bucks" just outta nowhere.

Also, Homelander's insistence on the use of the term "super villain" (as opposed to super-terrorist) seems to be setting the stage for him to want to call himself a Super Villain. He's managed to put himself at odds with just about every character, so a "everyone vs. Homelander" plotline seems to be the direction things are headed.

First 3 episodes were great. Have a feeling that butcher and homelander are going to team up against stormfront. I think the gender swapping of stormfront is going to play off great with homelander's insecurities.

Homelander promises to leave Becca alone if Butcher can kill Stormfront (in a similar way that Translucent died, totally done by normies, keeping Homelander's hands clean)?

Antony Starr is ridiculously good as Homelander.

They definitely set up the female wanting to kill stormfront. The female seems like one of the stronger powered individuals.

I don't consider myself thin-skinned, but this show is becoming quite edgy, even for my tastes.

Good thing that gay clone shit happened right at the end, otherwise I'd probably have needed a second fap break (first one was after the racist cop killed the innocent young black man just for fun).
