there’s lots of needless vulgarity

90% of cases i'd agree with you

But in this case, the main shtick of the show is the contrast between the squeaky clean side of the 7 (imagery reminiscent of the Avengers) and their darker side.

so, making them be cartoonishly sinister (by over the top vulgarity) is actually appropriate in this case, since it is part of the satire

They are so very clearly a parody of the Justice League, not the Avengers.

Way to ignore my comment. If the vulgarity bothers you, watch something else. They've done a good job adapting this story for television while keeping the characters faithful to their source material. While the plot differs drastically, the characters act and speak largely the same as they did throughout the graphic novel. As I said before, it is toned down from the source, so if season one bothered you, you should quit while you're ahead, since it's only going to get worse.

S2 trailer looks cool!

Felt like the show tries too hard to be gritty at times and there’s lots of needless vulgarity, still though it’s entertaining enough I suppose

this is less of a problem with the show and more of a personal preference

the show isn't likely to tone down its vulgarity and there's no reason why it should. if you're not a fan of it you just shouldn't watch

So I had a bit of criticism..I liked the first season enough where I'm going to keep watching it, hopefully the story stays exciting

So hyped for this, I was very surprised that season 1 was so interesting and now they get Jensen Ackles. Should be good.
