Haven't played it since it came out so don't remember any builds tbh, Don't have many classes so starting out as a fighter again.

I personally dislike salvation, means you need to buy a heal charm on top of everything else and i feel the extra damage from more points into power strike/retribution or even getting knockdown as well is better for new players.

As explained in the guide:
Weapons: Enhanced effect (EE for short), increases weapon damage on weapons
Armors: EE, increases defense on armors. Should only be looking for leather/scale/chain/plate armors. robes/padded robes have too low physical defense.
Charm: Strength, increases weapon damage of fighter usable weapons.
Acc Charm: do not use. Any +stat charm here won't do anything, only useful for EE charms which if you're following my no salvation build, you will not need.

You will be looking to spend
~10 fg getting to level 20, ideally level 1/5/10/15 weapons, 0/10/15 armors and a level 0/5 str charm.

~35 fg getting to level 35.
~50 fg getting to level 50
~rest of your budget on level 50/55 items to reach level 71.

any 8+ stat item tier 3 or higher for 1 fg

Level 45 white- 10-15 fg
Level 50 white- 20-40 fg
