Would it be selfish of Bernie not to drop out of the race at this point?

Under the current circumstances its potentially dangerous if he didn't, because of the virus.

I could see if he had a 30-40% chance of winning. As of now he has a 12% chance of winning and older folks are going into germ filled voting locations.

Hes not the frontrunner anymore but theres no reason to drop out yet. Theres still debates and a shit load of delegates.

I mean he is a 10:1 underdog at this point. It could be seen as extremely selfish if he moves forward with this given the circumstances.

Not really. He was the frontrunner just a few weeks ago, it can shift again.

how could it reasonably shift? please give some scenarios where he becomes the frontrunner again. Bernie has proven multiple times that he does not expand from his base

Biden gets on a stage with him one on one with nobody to shield him.

Happens tonight actually. I expect a swing in Bernie's favour... will it be enough? I doubt it. But I live in hope.

Extremely unlikely. It's important to keep in mind the calendar: Bernie's best states (CA, WA, NV) came early, his worst ones (FL in particular) are yet to come. In just 2 days, Florida, Illinois and Ohio will go to the polls, and they're all very bad stats for Bernie. A week later, Georgia will vote, which is yet another populous state where Bernie is doing abysmally.

In Florida, Bernie will get blown the fuck out so bad it isnt even funny anymore:

So no, unless Biden drops to the floor and starts convulsing uncontrollably during the debate, this race is over.
