still downplaying, still no plan, still lying to his followers who will uncritically accept what he says as truth, still responsible for the unnecessary death of tens of thousands of americans:

I’d really love a Democrat to inherit the White House from a Democrat.

What did Clinton inherit? A recession, an unruly debt, peace.

What did Bush inherit? A balanced budget, a strong but beginning-to-struggle economy, peace.

What did Obama inherit? A financial collapse, multiple wars, an out-of-control budget.

What did Trump inherit? A growing economy, a significantly reduced deficit, global treaties for the future (Iran, Paris/Climate, TPP), multiple wars winding down.

What will Biden inherit? Hell.

Hopefully Biden can even right this ship by the time the next Republican takes over.

republican/trump response; to fix the economy in a recession is as easy as flipping the switch - (easy to say when they are the ones who caused the collapses)

Over 80 percent of 200 COVID-19 patients in a hospital in Spain have vitamin D deficiency, according to a new study published in the Endocrine Society’s Journal of Clinical Endocrinology & Metabolism.

for sure a contributing factor, but what % of people with vit D deficiencies also have other health defects. vitamin deficiency of any kind seems like a good indicator of overall poor health.

Well, that's for further studies to investigate. I wouldnt dismiss vit D deficiency as a factor in its own right.

vitimin D and immune system links are well known, but if i were to believe some people it seems like a bottle of Vitamin D per citizen could knock this disease flat in no time. im just not sure its that simple. even if we pumped people full of Vitamin D we'd still see issues with people who have underlying issues, and we'd still see community spread.

Sure, it's not gonna be this miracle cure that makes the pesky virus disappear. But vit D pills are super cheap and can be produced in no time. Given the magnitude of the public health and economic crisis this pandemic is causing, there is no reason not to encourage people to take those vitamin pills if there is scientific evidence that it helps mitigate the virus, if even just a bit.
