The jumps were poorly handled, but that doesn't mean having them was bad.

Was a decent show, I'd say a 6.5-7/10 is a fair rating in my opinion.

I definitely wouldn't recommend watching this pissed, i tried on friday and had no clue what was going on so had to re-watch sober on Saturday.

Some cracking tits aswell in the show, makes it worthwhile watching on this basis alone.

I'm 4 or 5 episodes in. It's better than I predicted, but not amazing or anything. A solid show for sure, but it has some faults.

It's a decent show. All I know about Witcher is a couple things my friends have told me. The separate timelines fell into place pretty well and relied on you to figure it out to a certain extent which was a nice choice imo.

My biggest criticism would be the action. Lots of "yeah he should be dead" moments that I don't like.

Yea, but that's just one of the tropes we have to suffer through if we want to watch tv and movies.

I agree that one of the benefits GoT has over Witcher is that Witcher saddles us with a protagonist who has invincible plot armor. GoT meandered it's way to the problematic plot armor in the later half, but we started with 4 strong seasons where everyone seemed killable at the time.

Give it a solid A , cant wait for season 2 ,ini love with the show

They got me just with the first sword fight by Geralt on the first episode. The technique used, the strenght and the speed was incredible.

Agreed. For whatever flaws the show has (and there are some) Cavill is fucking amazing. The show deserves so much credit for nailing that one very difficult aspect of the adaptation.

Cavill is doing an excellent job, he always has in any role anyway. Must have taken over a year to train.
