i kinda feel ashamed of arguing to all your math with only beliefs, but i feel volcano not only does low damage but also most sorces use sop (+85 fr) making most of the fire damage useless..

unlike sins that can get stuck claw-blocking, sorces would need to be whirled for an efficient fhr lock

but i think your idea is clear and supported enough to give it a try before questioning

It's pretty funny that you haven't even played the build and yet you're still finding all the flaws in his build.

He's just a bad pub dueler from ladder. He hasn't even seen a good player in at least a decade and has no idea how to beat one

its not about getting someone locked definitely, its about delivering a 1-2 punch that deals its damage and disengages again. That whole combo from the last page is delivered in the span of 1 second. Its something that requires experience dueling with or against it to understand. You don't fire and forget a volcano and hope it kills someone on their own unless they're a glass cannon build whos mouse ran out of batteries. The bread and butter combo of a shaman teleports in to deliver a grizzly strike and then teleports off again or continues tech chasing with grizzly hits. And like I said, if you're dishing out 13k+ damage in a combo, a low DR sop vita sorc is going to get walloped for ~1800+ hp per combo.

The volcano is not the primary source of dmg in this instance, nor is it ever really. It will chip away at health, as will armageddon, but the goal is to create an opening for your in and out bear dive. Once I've been in a game for 3 minutes people will know they need to stack some extra fire, which just leads me to change my inventory around and duel more grizzly focused.

That being said, my Shaman can and has smacked people. Does it win every duel? Nope, but it's different and any GM dueler I've faced with mine enjoyed the duel win or lose.





Every build has flaws and you don't need to have one to understand what they are, I'm not sure what you're trying to prove here.

Grizzly dies fast, fire gets sorbed easy, phys damage is low, delays and more delays, attacks are easy to dodge with no effort, the char itself is weak and dies to anything.. I mean, play it if you like it, but its not a strong pvp char and gonna struggle to win any serious pvp build.

Ohhh I see. It was just the way you talk about the build, it sounded like you had one but couldn't figure out how to duel on it. At this point I'm guessing you just dueled some really bad ones.
