You've been a consistent critic of major powers intervening in the affairs of sovereign nations. So if ISIS revives itself and Russia has to send a bunch of troops into Syria to take care of it, you'll be the first one to criticize the Russian overstep. Right?
I don't care about Russia sending troops to Syria as much as i care about the US sending troops somewhere. I don't live in Russia, i live in America. I don't pay taxes in Russia i pay taxes in America. The US wasting money on wars impacts me negatively, Russia spending money on wars doesn't impact me much. It sucks for the average Russian who sees a ton of internal issues yet their gov't is sending troops and weapons to foreign lands but that's their problem not mine. So why would i be critical of them sending troops there and wasting their resources? That's w.e. to me. On the other hand the US is my home, i'm building a life here, my kids will grow up here, so i will be critical of things that i see as negatively impacting that.
