Russia Takes Over Abandoned U.S. Military Base

*fixed...

The coffee was still warm.

Russia now has Su-35s patrolling the skies over Manbij as of an hour ago.

You’d support Obama abandoning a military base and giving it to Russia and Assad?

A few years from now(or less) we'll have a dire situation in the Middle East that's obviously connected to Trump's Syria withdrawal, and by then he may not have a whole news network devoted to putting out propaganda for him.

It doesn't really matter to me who abandoned it. We've abandoned lots of bases all over the world at various times.

That's true, but it's these sort of images that make up the legacy of an American president's foreign policy.

I dont think Trump cares that much about his legacy. He cares about the here and now, about his approval numbers, cheering crowds at his rallies and staying in office in spite of the impeachment inquiry and the 2020 election.

Also, a presidential legacy is subject to change as time moves on. Bill Clinton was considered one of the best presidents in modern times until his historical stock began to sink rapidly in recent years. Bush41 was considered a failure at his time, but is looked at much more favorably by modern pundits.

Oh no, the horror.

We left a desert town half a world away in Syria and a bunch of Syrians backed by Russians came to it peacefully. How will we ever recover.

Well luckily if ISIS ever makes a return you'll be the first to criticize Putin for intervening in the affairs of Syria.

In usual fashion Icemage throws out a statement that makes no sense. Do you have a scrabble bag you reach in and randomly piece together words that are loosely related to a topic?
