This sucks !!! I actually started 1 and was wanting to look forward at what u was finding that I could hope to find also..

Also weird that u have 2 unique monsters in the same picture, should have single either of them off :bonk:


At least u beat the game before u died, thats the main part !!! Just didnt achieve ur other goals :cry:

RIP. Classic hammerdonks are always fun :)

Couple of advice if you want them:

You should treat classic hammerdonks more like a sorc. As in, stop worrying about your defense too much. Its helpful yes, but + life and + res is waaay more important.

As some1 already said, Ornate dins are only viable when you have a -30% req ornate plate. Otherwise its just waaaay to much strength you need to put.

That being said, mage plates are your go to armors and its a good idea to imbue them. ^^ %ed for a hammerdin is like your 3rd most important roll. After +life and +res.

With this in mind, 3 pdiamond shield > 2pdiamond shields. forget 2 sox.

This is based on my experience but ofc, if you think you need + def by all means do it.

you cannot get +2 sock in magic or rare classic shields.
they do exist on live servers but that was due to a glitch years ago where classic chars entered a5 and used imbue quest.

he can gamble/find a +2 30/20 from a vendor and add "-act 5" to the command line, then he can get a 38@ pris one magical ^_^
