Can he be better one day? Absolutely. But Shaq was the most dominant low post scorer of all time. He was useless outside of the paint and couldnt defend the perimeter or p&r to save his life but he was so dominant in the post.

you're funny. laimbeer was anything but soft and he could handle any current nba player while making them try to swing at him out of frustration. there were elite defensive players like GP, rodman, barkley, isiah, alonzo, moncrief pre injury, mutumbo, shaq.. those guys would dominate in this weak defensive minded league

Shaq had kobe wade in their primes with hof teams, if shaq went to guard the three point line, that would mean his team sucks like philly.
