Excuse me sir, did Jordan have to deal with zone defenses or big men able to float in the paint and defend the rim the same way guys defend it now? No he didn't, because you weren't allowed to defend an "area" back them and had to defend your man. Any sort of zone defense or anything relating it was illegal then.
Speaking of free throws, you do realize Jordan averaged like 12 free throw attempts the season that he averaged 37 PPG, right? More than Harden averaged this past season π Jordan also had to take a lot more shots as well, he was a volume scorer when he dropped 35+
Cracks me up how Jordan's brand has brainwashed people into thinking he was hands down the GOAT in every area. Saying Harden is a better scorer is far from a reach, and every statistic you can throw out there backs up Harden. We all know Jordan was a far better player overall, but statistically as a scorer Harden makes his case. All people can say is "oh well Jordan got hand checked" lol well he also played with a lot slower and softer white dudes too and defenses had to play differently forced to defend their man and couldn't play anything resembling a zone.
you're funny. laimbeer was anything but soft and he could handle any current nba player while making them try to swing at him out of frustration. there were elite defensive players like GP, rodman, barkley, isiah, alonzo, moncrief pre injury, mutumbo, shaq.. those guys would dominate in this weak defensive minded league
i see mj stylin on folks and breaking defenders down. 5 defenders in the paint and he still finishes. you need to stop it with this harden is better shit
