half the teams in the nba dont play good defense, just like half the teams in the nba back then didnt play very good defense but we only get to see the good teams from back then so views are skewed. No one here has any idea what the NBA was really like back then.

I mean Daryl Morey is one of the better GM's in the league, so idk how he's "irrelevant" I mean I don't know how any NBA GM is irrelevant (except maybe anyone who is GM for the Knicks rofl).

Also, read through the posts and all of the stats backing up the claim. Literally every advanced stat, raw stat, anything really favors his claim as Harden being a better scorer now than Jordan ever was. He scores just as much (actually MORE than Jordan did most of his career), at a much more efficient rate.


I agree there are plenty of teams that don't play defense, just like back in the 80's. That's part of the game, some teams SUCK. But to act like defense isn't played now, but it was then, is a myth...
