Random assaults on minorities and queer people aren't uncommon though. Proud Boys need to get into a fight to be recognised as a full member so there are a lot of incidences of them driving around cities shouting pro-Trump shit, racist or anti-queer slurs at people and then beating them up if they say anything back. Flippo from the Proud boys and Toese of Patriot Prayer/Proud boys (There's some overlap in their membership) were charged with doing exactly this. But they aren't the only ones.
