Well nonjsp users probably wouldn’t be complaining about depreciation on jsp - but if they did, their point wouldn’t be hypocritical yes.

I’m not saying that botting is necessarily a good thing, i’m Saying that you need to measure it’s impact on the game using quantifiable data. And saying cheaters accusing others of cheating is laughable.

Many players complain about d2jsp on bnet forums(you can google it) but we don't know are all of them using d2jsp or they got information from other legal source.

You are trying to justify botting so much, you can't compare botting with trading on d2jsp, its like comparing stealing an apple with murder.

So after 4 days everything went down so much in price, no point of playing ladder anymore.ty bots,

Thoughts?

What I don't get is why Blizzard did one huge 11/17 banwave and cleaned up, but then never followed it up.

I agree - trading is much much worse.

Botting is unauthorised use of third party programs. Whereas trading is direct theft of digital property that belongs to Blizzard. So why are you so upset about stealing an apple but ok with murder?

No material profit for them. But it would be actually smart for them to do something about d2 before remaster so more people would buy new game if they like this one, or they are thinking lets just give up on d2 so more people will want to come to bot free d2 remaster.

I ment other way, sry didnt wrote it in good order, botting = murder, trading = stealing an apple, well you can look at this way botting is killing the game since people will play it for "3 days" instead if "30 days" and trading even like this is still making profit for blizzard and promoting their product, and botting is destroying the game as we have example for that in D3, in only 2 years bots destoyed game.

for every one bitching about d2.. they still play.. they are still going to install diablo immortal and they are still going to buy the micro transactions

look at all the dungeons and dragons fan boys.. they reently came out with a HORRID and i do mean HORRID mobile game called warriors of waterdeep.. and OMG its bad.. yet the fanboys still play it. stilll praise it. still buy the monthly subscription

people who fanboy a company, will literally put up with all of that companies abuse

same with the EA.. those guys are still making money. even though they constantly shit on their supporters

You're the second person to make this argument in this thread but just like the first person, you don't have any proof of what you're saying. Why is botting worse than trading? What is your standard of measurement? Do you have any data with a sample size of more than 1?

You say that people will play for 30 days if there were no bots but only 3 days if there are - where's the proof of that? Because I can tell you for certain that I'm playing a lot more thanks to botted items and botters are certainly playing a lot more due to bots (regardless of whether you consider it playing - they definitely do). So it seems to me that your argument is based on your own arbitrary judgment ... unless you can actually provide some real evidence?

What about people that use private duping methods? That's something that isn't available to everyone and is also cheating. Are you saying because I use jsp I'm a hypocrite for criticizing people who use private duping methods?

Jsp isn't an isolated environment, depreciating on jsp affects the overall economy.

people not on JSP are mad that bots that sell items to jsp users are devaluing the currency of jsp, which they dont use?

Same as above, I think this statement is flawed.

JSP is also the reason D2 is still alive.

No one would play this game if 3 weeks into ladder there were 24 shakos and 1 ber on the whole realm.

It's a double edged sword.

Damn, what you described sounds awesome
