There's all sorts of things about keys being 'lucky". Has anyone gotten reliable data that we could put it in a test?



I'm hoping the sample size would be large enough that the standard deviation does not have to be known, in order to use a z-test intead of a t-test.

Example: Probability of passing with 3 doors is theoretically 1/6. (3!) Has anyone tested it?

Assume uniform distribution:

Null hypothesis: P(pass) = 1/6

Alt. hypothesis P(pass) ≠ 1/6

I would look for a 0.01 p-value.

OR we could go further, post what key you chose and if it caused a fail/or opened.

If anyone is interested in participating (or knows if pass/fail data is available anywhere), let me know.

I might just be really drunk, and this might be considered spam, then I'm sorry, close the thread.......but if not, leave any data on pass/fail and #doors and key used.

Im actually 26/92 (28.26%) on 3 doors using the same combo (stats in my profile) if you are curious

I’d need to update my stats to include my current character but most of my classes pass at or before the expected rate

I think this is a cool idea and I always wanted to compute some statistics about ladder slasher, but I never had the time really. If you are interested in doing that, you can check my profile, I have listed all my mqs during time

My worst ratio is on Samu and my best on ninja ( while 0/~150 on wl )

Can someone tell me how many doors each class faces?

Also (I think that warlock is/was 6 doors, someone correct me if wrong.)

Odds a warlock passes in 150 tries or less is EDIT, miscalculation, need # of doors
