Personally, I think Mads Mikkelsen would make an amazing Erik Lensherr (Magneto).

i think that the current x-men actors are quite good tbh (michael fassbender is pretty dang good at doing magneto)

Gina Carano as Wolverine

Mikkelsen sucks at doing anything other than gruffy unshaved old man.

Wouldn't be a good magneto at all.

A couple are great like Fassbender
Most are pretty average

She's been awful in everything she's ever done, with the exception of Lovely Bones and Silver Linings, but that was carried by Cooper, not her. I also haven't watched that in a minute, maybe she was terrible in that too.


I have a hard time imagining other people in these roles now that they've been made so iconic by the previous casts. Hard to beat either of the Magnetos or Xaviors and good fucking luck casting a better wolverine. They'll need to pull away from the wolverine driven narrative, but I wonder if they'll have Cyclops as the lead, or if they'll actually try to make it a true group thing.

Disagree heavily on Mads, I like him for what he does, but he's one dimensional as all hell.
