Honestly I'd be surprised if they are actually doing X-Men so soon. Fantastic 4 would be a good place to go imo. If they are going the mutant route maybe not the main main ones, maybe do like Iceman and shit.

They should try to get hugh jackman for wolverine. seriously, he is irreplaceable. disney got billions. they can do it. They forced Lucas to sell star wars. They bought out fox. They can do anything.

Anyone other than Hugh Jackman as Wolverine will feel odd. Whoever that actor will be has huge shoes to fill.

With technology being as it is, they could keep a lot of the cast and CGI younger versions... I think they did that with some scenes in the last Fast / Furious movie and twin brother.

I agree, hard to see Jackman go, CGI that maybe.
As for Jenifer Lawrence... well, she is already recognised as Mystique, maybe she could up her acting game and change the persona a little for the next movie.

I don't know much about actors... but to be honest... I hate Ryan Renolds acting (my personal opinion), he is a fuckup, all his acting scenes that I know him for are just comedic, there isn't anything special about it... take him in Blade III for example... smart ass moron.... what is it and him picking only comedic roles... that is all he does... yup... he is great in Deadpool... why, because he only relates to comedy lines. Maybe I haven't seen him in enough shows where he is being REAL... he is only a one act actor to me.

Sorry for you fans out there... but that is my view... hate it, disagree, whatever... I stated my opinion about Ryan Renolds.

Ya... except that X-Men is one of the few franchises to actually give us better than average superhero films. Like what, 2-3 Marvel movies are actually good (Iron-Man, GotG and maybe Ragnarok) and the rest are in the F to B- range, with most of them being in the D to C range. Of course Apocalypse and Dark Phoenix (not sure why they didn't learn their lesson last time) sucked, but First Class and Days of Future Past were exceptionally well-made movies and Logan is arguably the best superhero movie to date.

It's going to be tough either way to recast the X-Men. We'll see if they just throw money at the problem and cast multiple A-listers, which apparently always equates to a good movie in the eyes of Marvel fanboys, or if they actually try making something decent. It'll probably be the same canned bullshit Disney always tries to sell and I don't see it working all that well with X-Men, but hey, Avengers is apparently the best movie ever, so what the fuck do I know.

Well actually the current cast is pretty horrible, the old gen cast was more bearable

idiots removed "X-Men" from the movie name (marketing) and paid for it

"change the name to x-wahmen, end of discussion! -> *cucked professor x face*" twitter video clip drop before the theater release did not help either
