Ya... except that X-Men is one of the few franchises to actually give us better than average superhero films. Like what, 2-3 Marvel movies are actually good (Iron-Man, GotG and maybe Ragnarok) and the rest are in the F to B- range, with most of them being in the D to C range. Of course Apocalypse and Dark Phoenix (not sure why they didn't learn their lesson last time) sucked, but First Class and Days of Future Past were exceptionally well-made movies and Logan is arguably the best superhero movie to date.
It's going to be tough either way to recast the X-Men. We'll see if they just throw money at the problem and cast multiple A-listers, which apparently always equates to a good movie in the eyes of Marvel fanboys, or if they actually try making something decent. It'll probably be the same canned bullshit Disney always tries to sell and I don't see it working all that well with X-Men, but hey, Avengers is apparently the best movie ever, so what the fuck do I know.
Almost all Marvel movies shit on xmen movies except maybe Logan.
So yeah, Marvel will save this shit show hopefully lol
