if she will allow you to hook up a powerline then def a power line imo just for stability reasons.
however if the wiring is trash then it probably won't work.
I assume your in a basement apartment or something in which case go for it.
If your in some kind of building with a lot more tenants then maybe not.

Either way, usb wireless adapter are super inconsistent. Either route would be good. I've run off my gigabyte pcie card that's like $40 USD, and with an ac1900 router, I've had no problems gaming. Just keep it on the 2.4ghz band and it's a much more stable connection, just less maximum speed (really only matter for large downloads, and only if you have the actually speed from your ISP to hit it). Powerline adapters work well if you have the wiring for it.

What would you suggest for the adaptar?

I see u have 3 monitors, do u run all 3 at the same time?

I seen windows bug out when running multiple monitors at differnt resolutions... have u tryed unpluggin the 2x 1080p screens and see how it runs?
