whats ur cpu temps in hwmonitor when under load? or when u open apex?

and whens the last time u did a full format?

Nothing above 55 before it crashes. 76% CPU usage ona couple cores.

Last format would be a couple months ago. Maybe 2?

Yea it just feels like so much is broken all of a sudden that I dont even know where to begin.

Every suggestion has helped somewhat, but none of the issues are "fixed" really.

Its frustrating because I keep getting upgrades and now it runs worse then when I just had my 3 1080p monitors and a 1070 :/

did you use DDU to completely remove your old GPU drivers, and installed the latest 1080ti gpu driver from nvidia's website?

Since I dont recognize DDU I am going to say no I didnt.

I run window 10 installer on a USB, format my SSD in the options, and then install. I dont touch my HDD.

The first thing after installing the drivers for my mobo is updating my GFX from the website, and then trying to keep it up to date with geforce experience.

you need to always remove your old driver, to replace with a new one. Otherwise it'll cause problems like you're having with clashing drivers. Download DDU and remove all drivers, then re-install the latest 1080ti driver from website.

if you use the nvidia experience interface to get the drivers does it automatically do this for you, or have I just been backloading 3 years worth of drivers lmao (no problems like OP just curious)

if ur talking about updating ur current GPU to the latest GPU driver with the clean install option, that's fine cuz ur using the same card.
DDU is ideal to use when you're changing cards, so when you get your 580 make sure you use DDU to remove your current nvidia drivers before inserting the card
