I have a wife, 2 large dogs an annoying cat and my son just turned 1.

Speak from over 20 years experience living with both cats and dogs. Cats are selfish, destructive and dirty.

Dogs on the other hand want nothing else in the world but to just be by your side 24/7. They dont shit and piss in gravel/sand in your home and drag it around the house leaving little chunks of contaminated litter who knows where. Dogs dont regularly eat their food and throw it up less than 10 minutes later.

Cats are a suitable pet when they're not yours, you are 7 years old or less or a lonely woman who needs something to clean up after and only return the affection when it suits them.

i was on reddit and I read a blog from a suicidal girl.
she was literally ready, in extreme anxiety, the letters were ready
, her cat started rubbing her legs with her body... he was meowing.
she described well how a cat can bring us back to reality
kinda sad but this is just a point
