Speak from over 20 years experience living with both cats and dogs. Cats are selfish, destructive and dirty.
Dogs on the other hand want nothing else in the world but to just be by your side 24/7. They dont shit and piss in gravel/sand in your home and drag it around the house leaving little chunks of contaminated litter who knows where. Dogs dont regularly eat their food and throw it up less than 10 minutes later.
Cats are a suitable pet when they're not yours, you are 7 years old or less or a lonely woman who needs something to clean up after and only return the affection when it suits them.

Its 100% less dirty than dog, he cleans himself every 20min or earlier lol
Dogs smell like shits..everyone knows this that dogs stinks if you do not wash them.
And yes they do what they want = they live with you as best friends and companions,
But cats are not your slaves as dogs are,
dog does everything you said to him like slave you are his Master..
And this is the thing where i like cat when i see him what he do himself without any orders from me, he is living his own life as we are living. He plays himself with anything, like little child or as i said grey little Ape ^^
