Low carbohydrate diets are unsafe and should be avoided, according to a large study presented today at ESC Congress 2018.

The researchers also reviewed seven separate studies on carbohydrates and health, involving around 447,500 people in all. Together, these studies pointed toward similar, if more modest, results. Low-carb diets were associated with a 15% higher risk of total mortality, a 13% higher risk of cardiovascular mortality and an 8% higher risk of cancer mortality, compared to high-carb diets.

IMAGINE HOW STRONGER ARE THE DAMAGES IF YOUR DIET IS COMPLETELY EXCLUDING CARBOHYDRATES.

Pretty much all nutrition studies are useless outside of the most obvious trends in mortality.

To remain in Ketosis for a long period of time is when it becomes unsafe. Temporary strains on the body by doing ketosis periodically is actually good for your body. Juice cleansing in the process helps with all the benefits of ketosis as well.

You means stress the body "periodically" with abnormal diets ? nothing is worse than that, excepted constant ketosis maybe.

By temporary stress I mean burning your fat rather than burning carbs. You do know that the meals involved under doing ketosis properly involves some very healthy choices? And juice cleansing your body gives everything your body needs?

You are completely backwards my friend. Ketosis isn't what's bad, it isn't bad at all, it's how it's being done that determines that. It's actually a very healthy diet and has so many more pros than cons when done properly.
