Snipa is right, 100%. By your logic, when we are arguing against Chivas and Card and disagree with them, the burden of proof is on us? Hell no, burden of proof is on them for making such an outrageous claim that goes against common knowledge.

Also, I find the backlash against Scaly in this thread a bit overboard tbh. He clearly said "In my experience, men take marriage pretty seriously". He's just referring to his inner circle and his "lived experience". Nothing wrong with that

I agree with Scaly though. Unless you live among a group of party people (which is going to be the group that even cares about statistics brought about by social media questioning) you are going to find people that actually care about their other half.
Here, where I live in Michigan (near Detroit), despite its liberal tendencies, most families stick together and you are the odd one out if your parents are divorced. Then again I live north of Detroit and not in it.

He’s right that it’s cheaper to give high risk individuals prep for free than to treat hiv. Hiv treatment is not cheap and has a lot of potential complications which adds more costs. I mean they’re potentially taking a good amount of drugs daily and getting blood work often. Much smarter to give out prep imo.

Ofc it is, it's the same problem than junkies and needles, he said it himself.

Problem is there no desintoxication procedure for "sex & drugs [chemsex]" addicts who are getting fucked by 30 ppl in 3 days on their own will.

My answer: fuck it.

I'm confused as to why AIDS is an issues gay or non-gay, what makes gay sex more at odds at having aids or is it just how they treat sex? A lot of cis people treat sex quite flippantly.

I think it perhaps telling that you think gay sex workers are reflective of an entire community. At the same time, HIV treatment is advanced to the point where if people have access to quality care and medication then their average live spans becomes comparable to HIV-negative people.
