It's amazing France manages to get any work done with the amount of rioting, protesting and violence on their streets.

Nice attempt to demonise immigrant populations, but Algerians have contributed to French society immeasureably. From having their wealth extracted under colonial rule, to fighting for them during WW2 and rebuilding the country afterwards, to contemporary sporting achievements.

It's a shame that Algeria can't get their act together and achieve lasting political stability as a country with the potential to be a significant regional power.

We must all commit to make changes and some sacrifices.

I dont even mind giving the corona aid as grants rather than credits as long as it is made 100% sure via hard paperwork that this is a one-off thing and will not establish a long-term transfer and debt union. But exactly that, transforming the EU into a transfer and debt union, is the hidden agenda, the true goal of Italy and France during these negotiations.
