Labour tables no confidence bid in Theresa May: https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-politics-46599895

Finally Corbyn shows a bit of leadership and does the right thing. Theresa May is totally losing it if she thinks she can postpone parliament's Brexit vote until 14th January.

what are the consequences if a majority of parliament joins in on the no confidence bid?

just theoretically, could corbyn directly be elected PM if he had the votes?

but they couldnt even hold a new election before the vote on May's brexit deal would have to take place (deadlines and such)... so what is there to be gained on the actual issue? if labour now also starts putting their own career and power ambitions above the country like the tories, then the UK is truly doomed.

Brexit analysis: One wants to keep his job and the other wants to take it....Best solutions are no-solutions: delaying things.
This is what happen when populists win with lies... Allowed by a terrible miscalculation, Cameron should be publicly hanged

Which one is most likely to be "publicly hanged" in the next 12 months - May, Cameron or Macron?

isn't it strange? we had countless posts (most of them shitposts exaggerating numbers and misrepresenting facts) about the yellow vest protests in france, but not a single one about the protests against the hungarian right wing government for example. i wonder why that is...

in other european news, also related to protests against right wing governments that are completely ignored in pard:

Hungarians are protesting against the slave law imposed by Orban, heard shit was even becoming violent.. The law is making 7.7 hours overtime a week possible to demand from an employee, with overtime payment possibly coming after 3 years ?

The shitty government is selling this as "allowing ppl to earn more" while in effect it's keeping scarcity on the job market at bay, keeping labor cheap.

Lal, no you are not. The attacks are not coming from Sauci but from triggered morons for quite some time now. You're just enjoying kicking France a bit too much to see what's going on.

yeah, thats the worst part
people wont even get quick cash, unfortunately this new "law" makes it clear that orban also is a corporate puppet

and he is still right on migration

that campaign against poland is beyond ridiculous, if we apply these standards to other countries they would have to change things as well and germany is one of them

our highest judges are handpicked by the ruling parties behind closed doors and are by no means independent

the next president of the federal court harbarth is a long term merkel minion, deputy chief of the CDU in parliament and makes 250k+ a year on a side job representing big corporations
can we really expect a guy like that to be independent? certainly not

http://www.spiegel.de/politik/deutschland/verfassungsgericht-stephan-harbarth-soll-gerichtspraesident-werden-a-1237720.html

as a matter of fact i am happy that poland has to scrap the reform, but why is the EU only bashing poland? because they dare to speak against mass migration?
by all rights our country should be in their sights as well, but i dont expect the ridiculous EU courts to apply equal standards for everyone

they have lost all credibility by declaring that the illegal state financing of the european central bank is legal all of a sudden
yeah right, because buying government bonds isnt financing a state at all
just how stupid do they think people are

https://www.tagesschau.de/wirtschaft/ezb-eugh-staatsanleihen-101.html

so before we shit on others, we should do our own homework and make our courts independent, which this leftist government clearly does not plan to do

but hey, nice try to make it sound like exploiting working people and failed legal reforms are something only evil right wingers are doing
