I knew it'd be pretty light on the action side, but it was just a bad movie.
It was boring, they drew out things that didn't need to be drawn out. A lot of it didn't make a whole lot of sense.... These replicants are infallible and can't go off script. Oh, unless you trick them into thinking they're human, when they're not, then they can break the rules and do w/e they want. Oh, I created a replicant that can't make babies, me, the most powerful man in the world (who's also blind), better stab the replicant to illustrate that I'm not a nice man.
Just bad.... The visuals were great, the acting was mostly good (Ford was meh) and a lot of it was terrific, but the story and the pacing just completely fucking killed it for me. Not the worst movie ever, but not a good movie and not worth seeing in the theaters. The horrible sound shit movies are trying to do lately is starting to really piss me off. Ya, we get it, Christopher Nolan did it in Inception and the movie was a huge success, but guess what? Those super loud and constant repeat sounds, NO ONE FUCKING LIKED THEM. Every time they started, people were about to start raging when they finally stopped. They always got annoying lol. This is the exact same with the heavy pulsing/vibe sounds or w/e the fuck it was.
Part of my disappointment stems from how excited/hyped I was for this movie. It ended up being a major letdown. I'm pretty fucking upset about how this turned out.
