AMD is just syncing 2 of their 350 dollar processors together...they have a massive advantage right now in terms of pricing because intel can't get the kind of yields as AMD can by using cheaper chips.
On top of that it allows us to predict pricing better since we are more familiar with the process... 2 chips + markup for convenience and infinity fabric R&D. I think its very likely we will see 16 cores for significantly less than 1k.
which makes this whole thing all the more exciting because we know this won't hold up. :) :)
if its same single core performance as ryzen and these have kl single core or better I'd rather go intel ez
I will be keeping an eye on TR of course
