Picked up a lot from a random thrift store
They had a stack of games for $75
I picked out the non-sports titles and offered $40 and they took it!
Here is what I got:
Lego Marvel Super Heroes for PS4
Street Fighter V for PS4
My first PS4 pickups.
I don't have a PS4 and I'm not knowledgeable on prices..
They really aren't worth much second hand.
Kind of surprised considering it is current gen.
I'm sure they are good?
I don't know anything about them.
Psi-Ops The Mindgate Conspiracy for PS2
ChoroQ for PS2
Interesting pair of games!
Psi-Ops is kind of a sleeper hit.
Never played it before!
It is a 3rd person shooter but with an arsenal of psychic powers.
The controls remind me of Starwars games..
Looks cool, can't play it
I need to get a PS2 sometime..
ChoroQ is another really interesting game I wish I could play!
It's a micromachine-style racer with some light RPG elements.
Definitely weird, but ATLUS games are usually great!
Legacy of Kain: Soul Reaver for Dreamcast
C The Contra Adventure for PS1 (Disc and Manual only)
Nice to find a Dreamcast game I don't have!
I don't have many games like it for the system.
Looks and plays like a PS2 adventure game.
I look forward to playing it sometime
The Contra Adventure is definitely the gem of the lot.
Not a common game, but not a particularly good one either.
It is Contra for the PS1 era.
The 3D levels look horrible but the 2.5D levels look very reminiscent of the original games.
It's a bummer it doesn't have the back case.
It's even more of a bummer that it won't play
The top of the disc looks crunched but the bottom looks pristine.
I can only test it on a PS3 so maybe it is not compatible for some reason?
Not sure I will make my money back on this lot
Oh well, that's the way it goes sometime.

Picked up a little Gamecube Mario lot online:
MarioKart DoubleDash for Gamecube
Sadly no manual, but that's okay!
The Mario Kart series are some of my favorite games.
I haven't played this one too much so I'm happy to finally have a copy
Mario Golf Toadstool Tour for Gamecube
IMO, the Mario Sports series are some of the best pickup-and-play games.
I'm really a fan of golf games..
I've played the Wii sports resort golf game to death.
There is something really relaxing about the simple mechanics of a golf game.
I played this version a little bit and I like it so far!
Super Mario Sunshine for Gamecube
I've been looking for a good deal on this game for a while.
Really happy to have it complete and black label.
In my efforts to collect Gamecube games, I have avoided picking up greatest hits titles.
I love the Super Mario games but never played this one!
I guess I got wrapped up in the poor public reception when the game was first released.
I put it in to test it and ended up playing it for 5 straight hours lol
I can't wait to finish the game!
Paid $60 for the lot.
I think it is a fair price.
They aren't particularly rare titles, but still fetch a decent price.
I would say the going rate is probably ~$100 so happy to pay what I did.

Sold Battle Hunter for $11
A little sad to let this one go.. I played it for a little bit and enjoyed it. But it is too much of time sink. I have other games on my list i’d rather play for now

Found another Xbox 360 Controller at Goodwill..
Picked it up for $3 for that sweet $15 trade-in value
Here is what I got:
NBA Showtime NBA on NBC for Dreamcast
This game is so much fun!
It's a spiritual successor to the NBA jam series
Midway made some great arcade-sports games in this era.
Seriously, NFL blitz (and now this) are some of my most played games.
It lacks a season mode or anything like that..
Basically, it is a straight arcade port.
But it's a great Dreamcast game, and cheap!
Final Fantasy 13 for PS3
Final Fantasy 13-2 for PS3
Final Fantasy 3 Lightning Returns for Ps3
Didn't expect to pick these up..
These were all in the bargain bin for a great price
(Blacked out the store info for privacy)
I have no real interest to play these games..
I'm sure they are good. I just haven't played any FF game after 10.
If they want to move them for cheap I'll take them,
I think I can bundle them together to sell for a decent price.
Got this whole lot for trade-in value +$4

Made a pretty nice find at Goodwill the other day
Resident Evil Survivor for Playstation 1
Usually when a higher priced game goes through goodwill they up the price and keep in the display case.
Somehow this one didn't catch their notice.
A pretty uncommon Resident Evil game..
It's first person perspective and you use the d-pad to aim your weapon as a reticle on the screen.
It's actually a pretty smart mechanic and it makes it age better than the tank control RE games of this era.
Got it for $2.
It sold immediately for $30..
Probably should have asked for a little higher selling price.
Whatever
