The only thing the Kim's care about is staying in control. They don't care about their dying/starving people. They don't care about advancing the nation in any regard. Maintaining power is all they care about.

They will never attack the USA, simply because that would be the absolute fastest way to lose their control. DT and Co. could land on their shores and urinate on NK soil and I still don't think anything would happen.

We should send in snipers to take out every officer and political official of NK, as a combined effort of China, Russia, America, Japan, South Korea, and the United Nations.

Assimilate the North with the South, and spend the next 20 or so years helping them stabilize their economy and civilian sector.

NK has enough resources to justify such an en-devour, if they were a first world nation, participating with the UN it would benefit global markets on a massive scale.

Then there is the morality boost that the entire world would have from not having constant nuclear war threats happening.
