This is my problem with the media. Why report it this way then? Why is every headline on this with "Flynn" in the title? I assume the point is to grab eyeballs but it's really dishonest and misleading. Flynn is tied to Trump, these business people that are tied to Flynn, therefore by association these negatives acts whatever they are at least on a very subconscious and subtle way are tied to Trump, that's the angle that's being sold.

Something tells me this is the only reason this is even a headline for most major MSM outlets. If they were honest they would frame it objectively as in " Businessmen tied to illegal lobbying for Turkey" or even use those peoples names and no one would read it, instead, we get this. I even got a WSJ notification about this. Getting a notification usually means it's at least somewhat significant news which this is absolutely fucking not.

It's such shit journalism. For example, hypothetical scenario "Person tied to Obama accused of child trafficking". Come to find out it's Obama's college roommate from 20 years ago that he shared a room for a semester. Imagine getting that as a notification on your phone. Imagine getting those types of notifications for years and how it would be reflected in your opinion of that person.

Judge Sullivan even asked the government whether Flynn could have been charged with treason for interfering in Russian sanctions imposed by Obama administration. Government didn’t want to go there.
