Rather than adding to the current Trump thread, I felt this deserved it's own post.

Seth Abramson going #BallsOut on Twitter, regarding the case to investigate #RussiaGate, and all of the ties between his campaign (and now administration), Russian government and business interests, the sale of Rosneft, and more. It paints a hell of a picture, and while there isn't concrete evidence yet that ties all this together, the picture this paints (and the facts that are used to paint this picture) are more than sufficient to justify a full investigation.

As of 10:00 AM CDT, his Twitter feed has a lengthy list of Tweets (with citations in individual Tweets...way too many to link in this post) regarding this, as well as Chris Steele's potential testimony (which would be informal testimony to House and Senate Democrats, since the GOP-controlled Congress won't call for formal testimony).

if trump just pulling out of his ass the idea that obama was wiretapping his phones is enough to justify an investigation, then yeah, i don't think there is any arguing against putting people on this. someone's head is gonna roll. maybe just a campaign peon, but sometimes public sentiment and momentum requires you to kill a sheep.

The amount of evidence that is available right now would be more than enough to satisfy grand jury requirements in a regular court of law. GOP stonewalling just creates the appearance of complicity.

So, looks like these aides are falling on the swords to protect their bosses. There certainly can (and should) be legal ramifications for disobeying orders to preserve that data.

Trump wasn't 'wire tapped' as a direct command from obama, however he was caught up in "incidental collection" That much has been established.

If Clinton were in office it would pretty easy to spin a Russiagate story about her and her administration as well. And she actually has direct links to the Russian gov and business affiliates, so it would probably be even easier. I still don't think this is going anywhere. It could potentially if the GOP just really wants to make Trump a fall guy, but unless the GOP thinks it's advantageous I don't think we'll see any real action outside of political posturing for votes. It's a classic FUD strategy.

And a guy who writes for the Puffington Host basically is required to puff things up in order to keep his career.

Bodes excellently for him, since all the electronic data is being wiped, given that the investigation was telegraphed SO FAR in advance.
