i doubt its ram ive had ram die on me twice and both times if a stick is bad and gets used it freezes the pc in my experience this doesnt sound like a ram issue
ive had a mobo die and the mobo id be able to turn pc do stuff game and then it would restart randomly giving me gpu errors because the pci slot apparently got fucked

it could e either or ...thats the problem with pcs u never know until you know most times lol
but im kind of with secksi on the psu however i bought the mobo used n it was old and from my experience a psu is a lot more common to die then a mobo and a lack of power to multiple parts could cause the exact same situation

if you do get a psu try to get a decent brand and at least a bronze certified though if you have a cheap white cert ive often heard of them lasting like half a year-year tops before they die
and ive heard of like chinese psu actually exploding inside of peoples cases which is never that good but yeah psu is something you generally dont want to cheap out on from what ive read/heard lol

what brand? it should be pretty good if its a gold cert doesnt mean it cant die but 4-5 years for a gold cert is a bit rough if thats the issue

get canada computer to test your psu they should have a thing to test the plugs see if they are getting proper power no?

does your psu have like multiple extra loose cords? try swapping out the gpu cord if you got an extra 6 pin maybe its a bad cord or connector to that cord orsomething simple like that

So yes I'm going to take a look into a new PSU, i might bring it in to Canada Computers and have them test it. I guess they can wear down? I don't know if mine is under warranty or not I have to check <_<

have never had an issue with a PSU before, mine is like 4-5 years old now so I guess that could be the issue

" Irregular crash or forced game/computer reboot
If the game crashes irregularly or forces your computer to restart from time to time, you could:

Increase the fan speed or the cooling efficiency of your hardware by whatever means appropriate.
Remark: PoE can be quite taxing on hardware and temperature of processors and other parts can get quite high after a while.

Navigate to the Log-in page, click on ‘Settings’, under ‘Graphics’, change ‘DirectX’ version to ‘DirectX 9’.

Submit a bug report to Technical Support, outlining system specifications, network specifications and possible steps to reproduce/conditions that lead to crash. Inclusion of a DxDiag report may also be useful.
Remark: This could potentially be an independent case requiring specific solution as advised by Support.

Check that the Graphic Card drivers are ‘relatively’ up-to-date. "

Did you try the bolded part?

poe requires 4gb ram so 8gb is fine

I doubt it's ram but run memtest as suggested

sounds like psu or hard drive error, try installing poe on a separate hard drive, try powering video card from a separate psu to test

Also: when it crashes, restart and read the event viewer;

Click Windows Start button > Type event in Search programs and files field.
Select Event Viewer

it's EVGA nex series made by FSP, just a decent budget psu.
it's border line gold cert, but barely makes it.
Though none of efficiency really matters, it's all about quality when it comes to PSU.

yeah but generally higher tier efficiency psu have better quality parts from what i was reading but it varies brand to brand
so yeah the cert isnt everything but its normally a fairly good indicator its not a pos white cert from china at least :D

cert doesnt really relate much to indicate the quality of parts. It's just the efficiency of the power supply rating. there's many gold cert psu's out there that is pure trash, hence they still cost less than seasonic/superflower bronze cert psus cuz the quality of those are much higher.

yes im aware the rating is to measure the efficiency but i was reading some of the higher end companies put better quality parts in their higher certs since they cost more anyways
maybe they lied idk i dont make psus i dont test and review them but it makes sense though
