@my pc problems

So did a test on my own found no issues, talked with the guy and they basically ran my memory, processor, gfx card all at max. stress tested them, PSU should have died during that if it was the problem. As of right now I bought a new GFX card, going to try it out and see if I can replicate my problems, if it still fucks up then I have 2 weeks to get my full refund, if all works then it was my graphics card and I have pinpointed the problem, at which point I'll probably still bring it back for refund and get a better one

well if they stress tested the gpu at full i dont see that being the issue any reason you went with a new gpu? and if the psu is eliminated thats good
hopefully you get lucky and it fixes the issue though

Only way it fix your problem after all those stress test is because your card wasnt sitting properly in the pcie slot

the guy was very surprised I was back. he thought it might be GPU so i took his word, he said it's no risk as I can take a brand new one, try it for a week and if it still doesn't fix my issue I get a full refund so... why not lol

Doesn’t sound like a gpu issue to me

More likely psu (stress test =/= the same as running a game, I’ve had many instances where I could run every stress test without failure yet still crash in game, especially when it’s intermittent)
Or hard drive

When it crashed did it just restart itself? Any Bsod? Error msgs?

Have you went through your event log yet? Your computer tells you why it crashed..


E/ also a newer vidya card will likely have lower TDP meaning the sudden hit while loading would be less demanding on your aged psu. PSUs total power delivered depends on efficiency and age.

If there is no bsod, no error msg, and the computer just restarts itself, I can tell you with 99% confidence it’s psu, the other 1% would be mobo

Only other thing would be hard drive but it is highly unlikely it would just restart with no bsod
