The question is nonsensical. Not having free will doesn't mean you are a slave. Rocks have no master and do not have free will.

God does no evil.
God has free will.
Free will means one must be free to do evil.
Therefore a being with free will exists that will never choose to do evil.

Boom. It's possible to have free will and not do evil.

There you go, now you understand how God gave us free will and how it is for his purpose.
