Thought the Jets kinda killed themselves in certain aspects with drops/bad decisions and it kind of bailed the defense out a little bit. So I'm not sold on the defense being okay.
Also the penalties were awful the whole game, so many penalties on the o-line and some on defense/special teams as well. Kind of surprised to see that many penalties off the bye.
On a positive note the offense was pretty great on all cylinders... Sony was awesome all night long in the run game, they used Patterson a couple times in short yardage and he's a beast, didn't work every time but I like the idea. Passing game looked a lot better, Brady spread the ball around all game. Josh Gordon made a great play having to come back and dive for a ball on a crucial 3rd down, he's come up in the clutch quite a bit. Good to see Gronkowski out there and being productive, he still looks a little slow out there. Brady was on point all game for the most part, missed some throws still despite pretty good protection all game.
All in all a good performance against a team that usually plays us tough.
